The IWK Children's Hospital is the Tertiary Care Children's hospital for all of Nova Scotia. It is a 5 minute walk from the Halifax Infirmary. Many of the staff physicians at the Halifax Infirmary ED also work at the IWK (including program director Ryan Henneberry)
